CINDERELLA: THE PANTO

---

A Panto by Mark Tingle

You may think you know the story of Cinderella, but this version has a few surprises up its sleeve.

Our Writer is determined to tell the classic fairy tale properly. Unfortunately, things do not go quite according to plan. The Fairy Godmother is doing her best, but with a broken wand and magic that seems to have a mind of its own, getting Cinderella to the ball may be more complicated than expected. Meanwhile, the Prince is behaving rather strangely, the story keeps wandering off course, and the Writer is left desperately trying to keep everyone on track.

Will Cinderella make it to the ball? Will the Fairy Godmother ever get her magic right? Will the Prince start making sense? And, perhaps most importantly, can the Writer somehow get everyone to the happily ever after they were promised?

Packed with laughs, familiar characters, unexpected twists and plenty of theatrical mischief, this playful take on Cinderella is fun for the entire family.

Come along as the Writer tries to tell the story, the Fairy Godmother tries to fix it, Cinderella and the Prince simply try to survive it, and everyone hopes that somehow it all works out happily ever after.

We hope?!
