Ages: 8-14

Camp duration: 9am to 4pm + optional after care

Location: 51 Estate Drive, Scarborough 

About our camp

Join us this summer 2024 for a magical journey at our Toronto-based musical theatre camp! Our campers enjoy an action-packed summer with drama, music, and dance, fostering lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. 


2024 Dates: 

  • July 2- July 5, 2024 (4-day week) Full, register for waitlist) 
  • July 22 - July 26, 2024 (Full, register for waitlist) 
  • August 19-23 2024 Full, register for waitlist) 


Scarborough Music Theatre summer camp activities: 


  • Engaging Drama Games: Boost confidence and teamwork through playful challenges.
  • Dynamic Stage Movement: Enhance coordination and expressiveness in a fun way.
  • Creative Improvisation: Unleash creativity and quick thinking with spontaneous storytelling.
  • Vibrant Dancing: Improve fitness and rhythm while having a blast.
  • Choral Singing: Build harmony and collaboration in group performances.
  • Small-Group Ensemble Singing: Learn to listen deeply, find your place in the mix, and create beautiful music together in our small group vocal ensembles.
  • Guest Artist Workshops: Learn from industry experts with past workshops in aerial arts, puppetry, stage combat, clowning, Shakespeare, makeup, voiceover, and more.
  • End-of-Day Water Games:  Wrap up camp days with outdoor splashy fun!


Our program is designed to nurture creativity, confidence, and collaboration among young performers in Scarborough, Toronto. 

Camp Costs

5-day camp cost (M-F): 

Early bird (before May 25, 2024): $225/ week 

Regular: $240/week  


4-day camp cost (July 2-5): 

Early bird (before May 25, 2024): $180/week

Regular: $190/week 


*limited quantity bursaries available for families where financial stressors are a factor in participation

Extended Care

PM Extended care (4-5pm): $25/week  

Sibling Rates

 2 children, day camp: $400 /week

2 children, PM Extended care: $40/week

3 children, day camp $600 / week

Refund Policy

Participants may cancel their registration up to 1 week prior to the start of camp and receive a full refund minus a $50.00 administration fee. Once a program has commenced, no refunds will be issued. Exemptions, while rare, may be made in consultation with the Artistic/Production staff and SMT Board of Director
