The 3 years I spent at SMTY’s teen intensive were an extremely beneficial and fun experience for me as an adolescent as well as a performer. The week-long program helped me to get a better understanding of what to expect for an audition as well as prepare me for any upcoming show opportunities that arose. Leaving the camp behind now I can say that I met some of my closest friends through the Teen Intensive camp on top of the other skills and preparation that I was provided. -- Aidan
The SMTY Teen Intensive provided an incredible opportunity for me to explore audition preparation and hone my performing skills while having an absolute blast. Not only did I learn a lot, I also formed really close friendships. One of the best parts of the program is that the leaders created an inclusive and comfortable space where I always felt comfortable to be myself and try new things! -- Mikhaila
The SMTY Summer Teen Intensive Weeks were a highlight of every summer for me as a young adult. Every year, the facilitators created such a safe space where I was excited to step out of my comfort zone, which not only helped me improve as a performer, but gave me skills that I will continue to use throughout my life. I often look back on the memories I made over the years as some of the best memories of my teen life. -- Zoe
I spent 3 summers doing the teen intensive with Scarborough music theatre and it was always my favourite week of the summer! I loved the one on one coaching as well as the group sessions. You learn how to improve and develop your skills in all aspects of musical theatre. Doing these weeks have been incredibly beneficial to me in my career path and with making connections in the theatre industry! -- Aliyah
