Currently seeking volunteers for our November productions of Xanadu and SMTY's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
We’re looking for a few more good people to become Box Office Volunteers!
The Theatre Scarborough Box Office provides a vital service by selling tickets, answering questions, and facilitating ticket exchanges. Volunteers can work at the theatre when there is a performance on the stage or from the comfort of their own home via phone. Volunteers choose the frequency with which they volunteer. Some do the home box office once every two weeks, others more frequently. Some choose only to work at the theatre and others only at home.
Volunteers should be computer literate and enjoy talking to people.
Initial training takes about 1.5 hours. Then you shadow and work with experienced volunteers until
you feel comfortable to work alone. If you are interested, please contact our Box Office Manager, Wendy Miller at boxoffice@theatrescarborough.com
The Theatre Scarborough Refreshment Stand is open again and the patrons are thrilled!
Volunteering involves setting out the refreshments and making coffee and then selling refreshments before the show and at intermission. A second volunteer will be provided by the FOH staff at intermission to help out.
Each refreshment volunteer will receive a pair of complementary tickets to see the show on a different day. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact June at junebugbedford@gmail.com
