Welcome, audience, to our electrifying production of The Rocky Horror Show!
As the director of this outrageous spectacle, I am thrilled to present to you a show that has captivated audiences for decades with its bold message of self-expression and acceptance.
"Don't dream it, be it" serves as more than just a mantra for our production; it's a rallying cry for authenticity and individuality. From its inception in the 1970s to today, Rocky Horror has fostered a community where people of all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds come together in celebration of their unique identities. This show has been a transformative force, empowering individuals to embrace their true selves without fear or hesitation.
At its core, Rocky Horror is a celebration of differences—a rebellion against the stifling norms of conformity. Through its campy and over-the-top style, the show invites us to revel in the absurdity of life and to embrace the joy of being different. As a director, I've relished the opportunity to explore the realms of extravagance and theatricality, pushing the boundaries of what is possible on stage.
So, dear audience, whether you choose to sit back and enjoy the spectacle or dive headfirst into the madness, know that you are welcome here. Feel free to scream, laugh, and participate as much as you desire. After all, Rocky Horror is more than just a show—it's an experience meant to be shared and celebrated together.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy our presentation of The Rocky Horror Show. Let's journey into the night and embrace the exhilarating freedom of self-expression!
With boundless excitement,
Mark Tingle, Director
