Being part of this production is easily one of Carina’s favourite things, and she is immensely grateful to be working with such a supportive and talented group of people. David is excited to make his SMT debut in The Sound of Music! As a kid, he loved watching the movie, and years later, he had the amazing opportunity to meet both Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. He’s thrilled to bring Captain Von Trapp to life in this beautiful story of love, family, and resilience! Huge thanks to the amazing cast, crew, and artistic team, and to our wonderful audiences for supporting live theatre. Enjoy the show!

Tristyn is extremely grateful for having the opportunity to play the role of Rolf Gruber in this production. From the beginning of rehearsals to now, he has grown and learned so much and has had an unforgettable experience bringing this role to life on stage.

My first time playing a role in an adult production has been a great experience. I am so excited to be working with such a talented cast and crew. I am very grateful for all my friends and family who have supported me in this journey. I thank SMT and its audience for giving me this opportunity.

This is Mason’s first time being cast in a community theatre production. Thank you to SMT, the amazing and talented cast, crew and artistic teams of SOM! 

Playing "Kurt" has been such a wonderful learning and acting experience. So much fun and popsicles! Love to my Mom, Dad, Josh, all of my relatives and friends for always believing in this little boy who will never stop dreaming.

Ndola has been dreaming of doing this show since she was 6 going on 7 and is very grateful to be stage managing such a lovely group of Austrians.   Ndola would like to thank Miguel for always driving her home from rehearsal.

Lesley is thrilled to be working backstage again with SMT! Sound of Music was one of my Mom’s favourite shows, so this one is for her.

This is Adam’s return to SMT since the plague that shall remain nameless, having

previously worked as Master Carpenter for SMT’s Man of La Mancha, The Addam’s

Family and Mamma Mia, as well as a plethora of East Side Players productions,

including Nude with Violin, Quartet, The 39 Steps and Wonder of the World. 

Adam feels at home in the theatre workshop, where he can sing along to the bits he knows and hum

the parts in between.

Emily Pople is an all around theatre tech with a passion for Lighting Design. They are overjoyed to be working with Scarborough Musical Theatre for their fifth time. They are a graduate of UTSC currently studying Theatre Production at Humber. Emily would like to thank their grandparents for sparking their love of musicals so young.

Linda is  no stranger to Scarborough Village Theatre. She has been involved in over 35 shows with SMT, Scarborough Players, Scarborough Theatre Guild, Encore  Entertainment and Papermill theatre ... mainly producing and stage managing , but in a variety of other capacities. 

She is a retired school teacher but still continues to work , and enjoy time with children, as a supply teacher for the TDSB. 

I know you'll enjoy this all time favourite musical  as much as I have being a small part of it .
